Step 1

Open Opportunities.

From the left sidebar, click Opportunities. This is where every deal in every pipeline lives. If you've never set up a pipeline, you'll see an empty state. That's fine, we'll fix it in the next step.

Step 2

Click the Pipelines tab.

At the top of the Opportunities screen, switch from Opportunities to Pipelines. This is where you manage pipelines themselves: rename, reorder stages, delete, or create new ones.

Step 3

Click Create New.

In the top-right of the Pipelines tab, click the blue Create New button. A pipeline editor panel slides in. This is where you'll name the pipeline and build out the stages.

Naming tip: be specific. "Sales Pipeline" is too generic if you'll have more than one. Try "New Buyer Pipeline", "Refi Pipeline", or "Listing Appointments", something you can scan in a dropdown six months from now.

Step 4

Build your stages & save.

Add a stage for each step of your deal flow. Drag the grip handles to reorder. Common starting stages:

  • New Lead: just came in, not contacted yet
  • Contacted, meaning you've reached out
  • Appointment Set once they're booked
  • Proposal Sent, waiting on a decision
  • Won / Lost: your closing stages

When it looks right, hit Save. The pipeline is immediately live and ready for deals.

Step 5 · Last one

Add a contact as an opportunity.

Back on the Opportunities tab, click + Add Opportunity. Pick the contact, choose your new pipeline, and drop them in the right stage. That's a deal in motion.

From here, drag deal cards between stages as things progress. Every stage change is time-stamped so you can track how long deals sit in each stage and spot where things stall.

Shortcut: you can also add an opportunity from any contact's profile. Scroll to the Opportunities section on the contact page and click Add. Saves a few clicks.
